HOW LONG DOES THE HOG TAKE TO COOK? The hog takes 8-10 hours to achieve a slow succulent roast. Slow is the key during the cooking process

HOW MANY PEOPLE DOES A HOG ROAST FEED? A delicious whole hog from The Hogs Breath can feed up to 140 hungry guests. f you need to cater for less our half hog will feed up to 70 hungry guests

CAN YOU HOG ROAST IN WINTER? Yes, our hog roast ovens work outside in winter, in the cold weather. In fact, a luxury hog roast is the perfect warming meal for chilly events.

DO YOU BRING ALL EQUIPMENT FOR THE EVENT? For all events we bring all equipment that is required for your event. We work from a 3x3 metre gazebo on the day.

DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE? The Hogs Breath hold Public liability insurance up to 10 million pounds and full employers liability insurance. We can send a digital link supplied via NCASS for anyone wishing to view our insurance documents, food hygiene rating or staff certification. Please use the contact form above.

WHAT AREAS DO WE COVER? We cover an area of 45 miles from gu35. This takes us in to most areas within Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex ,London and Berkshire

CAN YOU HOG ROAST IN THE RAIN? Yes we can cater for you in the rain, it is a common occurrence with our British weather. we work from a 3x3 metre gazebo on the day that keeps the Hogs Breath team dry and able to prepare your food ready for service. we can also move our service tables inside if guests would like to keep dry.

HOW LONG DOES A HOG TAKE TO COOK? Our Hampshire Duroc hogs take 8-10 hours to cook. We achieve the most inredible juicy and succulent meat with our slow cooking process.

DO YOU NEED ELECTRICITY AND WATER? During the summer months electricity on site is not so important. If looking to hold an evening event access to a socket to run an extension lead is required to run our lighting system. Access to water is not required, we can bring along requirements with us on the day. With all events access to a socket and fresh running water is appreciated.

CAN I KEEP THE LEFT OVERS? Of course, we leave all left over meat with you to enjoy at a later date. Guests have messaged after making the most amazing curries and stir frys with their left over pork

ARE YOU ALLERGY AWARE? We take allergies very seriously. Staff members attending you're event are trained in allergy awareness and food hygiene. If you have any questions on the day please feel free to ask. For each event we have an allergens sheet detailing in a clear and precise manner the allergens present for the event. The allergens sheet is present for guests and staff to view at all times. The Hogs Breath do not use any nuts in any of our dishes or condiments. Our delicious stuffing is nut free also.

WHAT WILL BRING MY HOGROAST AND HOW LONG DO YOU NEED TO SET UP? A medium size Renault trafic van will arrive at your event with all the food and equipment required. The Hogs Breath team would require a parking space as near to the setup location as possible. We arrive two hours before the required service time which gives us ample time to set up our gazebo and prepare for service.
